August 2017, Greg Jacobs of Landmark Preservation of Savannah is creating the pattern for the undulating plaster garlands that will surround the center ceiling medallion in the dining room.
Following the ceiling pattern, shown in brown, Greg carefully attaches the first plaster garland.
The ceiling magic is complete!
Adam Chase, member of the Landmark Preservation’s team, installs the various plaster elements that comprise the dining room cornice.
March 2018. The Dining Room’s plaster cornice and ceiling are finished and the room has been painted a historical Greek Revival blue color.
